Me: Do you only tell women to get out of the fields?
Field Patroller: Laughing. No, I tell women, children, white skin, yellow, any color of skin types. It doesn’t matter who or what nationality they are. I don’t care. If they get into the flower fields, they’ve to get out.
Me: I see.
Field Patroller: They can watch, but they can’t walk in there.
Me: What do you like most about your job?
Field Patroller: Actually, I hate it.
Me: I am shocked. Why?
I was thinking he would be so delightful and loves his job. People are so happy, smiling, and laughing as they walked around. I didn’t expect to hear that answer from him.
Field Patroller: Because of the people who get in these fields! When they walk into in there, destroy the flowers. They don’t understand it! We do this for them. We don’t do this for ourselves.

FOOD:
They sell ice cream, shakes, and strawberry shortcakes. I don’t recommend you drink the shake if you have a problem eating sugar. It is just too sweet. Expect to pay $5 – $7 per item.
NEAR BY SHOPPING CENTER:
If you like shopping, you’ll enjoy your trip even more. There is an outlet very close by within walking distance from the flower fields. There are plenty of restaurants and fast food places for you and your family to enjoy.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Wearing comfortable shoes and clothes are strongly recommended.
Bring your favorite pair of sunglasses to keep your eyes in shade during the sunny day time. The sunlight could be bothersome if you have sensitive eyes. During the morning hours, you don’t need them.
I forgot mine. It was a good thing my brother had the extra pair of his glasses. Plus, bring a hat if you have one or buy one.
Oh, make sure you bring a jacket or a sweater. I didn’t plan to wear my jacket because it was sunny and warm when I left home. It was a good thing I brought a jacket with me. Otherwise, I would be freezing. The beach is near the place. It is colder there.
PICTURES:
Make sure your battery is fully charged and clear the memory on your phone if you plan on using it to take videos/pictures.
Just a gentle reminder, don’t go walking into the flower fields just because you want to get that one beautiful shot. Every shot takes, you are also shooting the patrollers’ anger up a few knots higher.
They work hard to give us pleasure. It’s only right if we return the favor back by not step beyond the designated walk areas.
With that, all you have to do is be one and stay present with beautiful flower fields if you decide to visit The Flower Fields.
