On this sunny and chilly morning in winter, I’m sitting in a comfortable mesh chair with the windows view to see outside while writing this. I’m so very thankful and would like to wish you and your loved ones, Happy Thanksgiving!
At one point in our lives, you were, are in the moment or will be crossing paths with me.
Thanksgiving’s Day is coming. It’s a day to give thanks to all who had helped make our days a better day today.
It’s The Holiday when many fortunate people in America celebrate the festive extravagant feast with their family and friends.
It’s a day to forget about dieting around this time of the year. It’s only one day of the year that we’ve overstuffed ourselves with too much food, pies and many favorite desserts. Well, maybe one of the many days, we say that we’ll die another day. 🙂
And yet, we’re still hungry for more.
Who does not hunger for:
- Empathy
- Compassion,
- Caring,
- Love,
- Warmth,
- Understanding,
- Friendship and
- Belonging?
Each of us had knocked on many doors during our lifetime. A few of them were opened and let us inside…
Some opened doors led us to so much miserable which emptied the happiness out of our lives.
For that reason, thanks for teaching us how much happiness means to us.
Luckily, very few of the opened doors had led us to the treasures of a lifetime…
For that reason, we say this to you…
While other people turn muted, thanks for opening your door for us.
While no one is to be found, thanks for showing up for us.
While other people are cool, thanks for your empathy.
While other people are indifferent, thanks for being so understanding.
While other people teach animosity, thanks for showing us what true humanity looks like.
While other people lack of kindness, thanks for your compassion when we needed it the most.
While other people are greedy, thanks for giving us a warm meal when we’re very hungry.
While other people drink up all their water, thanks for giving us a cup of water when we’re so thirsty.
While other people recoil their hands, thanks for giving us a hand when we needed a helping hand.
While other people save their extra blanket, thanks for sharing your blanket to cover our bodies and protect us from the cool nights in the winter season.
While other people look down on us, thanks for accepting us for being who we are at the lowest point in our lives.
While other people laugh at us, thanks for making us laugh and be our friends.
While other people doubt us, thanks for trusting and believing in us.
While other people run away from us, thanks for being there, standing by us when we’re lonely.
While other people want to stunt our growth, thanks for giving us the courage to be all that we can be.
While other people want to limit us, thanks for empowering us to fight for our freedoms and happiness.
While other people are colored their love, thanks for expanding your true color of love.
While other people are giving with sugar coded and hidden agendas, thanks for purely gifting from your heart and soul.
Thank you for showing us the gifting from your heart is the greatest, unforgettable and with gratitude isn’t for sale.
Thank you for being genuinely who you are full.
Thank you for all you had done for us.
Because of you, we’re full and have some more to share.
Because of you, we belong in the world being who is whole.
Who are you giving thanks today?
Happy Thanksgiving! May you and your family have a great time and enjoy harmony from getting together!
PS – Do you have another stomach for desserts?
